‘A dream has been realized!’
Tim Várdy, owner and founder of FestivalChairs, together with his wife Suzan Bergman, has established a brand-new jazz club in his office at the Spaarne near the Molen Adriaan in Haarlem. Four times a year, the office must be cleared out, and a concert takes place.
The goal of the jazz club is not only to organize an unforgettable evening for the city’s music lovers but also to pay the musicians fairly for their performance. Unfortunately, this is often lacking in the jazz world. FestivalChairs sponsors this initiative, together with the consumer brand Dutch Design Brand. Of course, all proceeds go to the musicians.
Tim has a background in music himself and is happy to be able to realize this cultural contribution to the city. The two concerts that have now taken place were sold out within a week.
